At the Abbeymead Dental Centre we aim to ensure that our patients are able to make informed choices about their dental care, and, whichever option they choose, are given the best General Dental care available. If appropriate, these services are backed up by our in-house Specialist Practitioners at Abbey Referrals.
Abbey Referrals
Recently created on the first floor of the building, Abbey Referrals offers the services of a team of Specialist and special interest dentists.
Here we provide:
- Full Specialist Periodontal and Hygiene services.
- Specialist Oral Surgery facilities including implants, wisdom teeth removal and sedation for nervous patients.
- Root Canal Treatment with our Endodontist.
- Tooth Whitening; we currently use a tray system to use at night and achieve excellent results.
- All forms of cosmetic treatment.

In order to enhance our service to you, we may ask you about any drugs you are taking. Please make a note of their names and tell us about them when you attend. If you change your address or telephone number please let us know.
Patient Protection
As a caring practice we take all necessary precautions to safeguard both patients and staff against blood-borne infections such as Aids and Hepatitis. We follow recommended guidelines with regard to the use and sterilisation of instruments and the use of disposable items.
